theGrindStoned's Top Ten Tapes of '09

also i figure this was appropriate theme music
Ok, this one has been in the works for a little while. All year I listen to enormous amounts of tracks and tapes by an array of various artists/ groups. All the while I am considering which ones deserve to be called the best. Then out of that "best" group there is an even finer categorization of the 'Best of the Year'. This is the list that you have all been waiting for and here on New Years Eve it has arrived...
This is theGrindStoned's Top Ten Tapes of '09, as follows in no perticular order:
1.) Freddie Gibbs, The Labels Tryin' To Kill Me
2.) Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa, How Fly
3.) Kidz in the Hall, The Professional Leisure Tour
4.) CunninLynguists, Strange Journey Vol. 2
5.) Lil Wayne, No Ceilings
6.) Slaughterhouse, Slaughterhouse
7.) Willie the Kid, The Fly
8.) Curren$y, This Ain't No Mixtape
9.) The Cool Kids, Gone Fishin
10.) B.o.B., B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray
Happy New Years.

Holy Shit...

This group is incredible. While Slaughterhouse is a supergroup the Gold Chain Military is exactly what there name implies, an army of talent. Similar to the likes of Wu- Tang.
"Introducing the Gold Chain Military. GCM consist of Planet Asia, Tristate, Killer Ben, Turbin, Killa Kali, Sav Killz & Montage One… The Gold Chain Military debut album Chain of Command is set to be released Feb. 23rd 2010 on Gold Chain Music/RBC-Records. Featuring Production by Alchemist, Babu, Large Professor, Thayod Ausar, Evidence, Architech, Masterkraftsmen, Jazimoto & more." (2dopeboyz.okayplayer.com).
Be Amazed.
